Merriam-Websters defines microaggression as “a comment or action that subtly and often unconsciously or unintentionally expresses a prejudiced attitude toward a member of a historically marginalized group (such as a racial minority)” …
You are invited to an open and frank discussion on why these kinds of comments/behaviors harm our ability to be a more inclusive club, and what we can do to prevent this behavior and foster a more welcoming environment at PBC.

· What do I do if it happens to me?
· What do I do if I witness it being done to someone?
· What is my personal responsibility versus the Board’s responsibility for taking action against microaggressions?

Robin Roberts is a mediator with over 20 years of experience in leading multi-stakeholder dialogs that develop concrete solutions to the challenges of managing environmental and public health resources. Most recently, he has facilitated dialogues on the reasons for vaccine hesitancy in historically marginalized populations in Baltimore, Howard County, and New Orleans.
