Rowing movie "Heart of Champions" opens ...
Author Last Post

Hello Potomac Boat Club,

I am a former collegiate rower and the writer/producer of the film “Heart of Champions” which will open in select theaters across the country this Friday, October 29.

We believe the rowing community will be proud of this movie and that it will also promote the beauty of our sport, so we are reaching out to schools and clubs across the country to let them know about the film.

The film is rated PG-13 and stars Michael Shannon as the team coach. You can find show times from your local AMC theaters or Fandango.

You can find the trailer here: https://youtu.be/sM-sndlCkuQ (or paste same link: https://youtu.be/sM-sndlCkuQ).

The film should be available on Friday 10/29 at these theaters in the Washington DC and Baltimore, MD area:

Alexandria, VA AMC Hoffman Center 22

Gaithersburg, MD AMC Rio Cinemas 18

Owing Mills, MD AMC Owings Mills 17

We have a modest marketing budget, so we hope you can share this information with your rowing teams, alumni, family, friends, and all sports fans to encourage them to see the film this weekend.

My sincere thanks for any help you can provide with getting the message out!

Best regards,

Vojin Gjaja
