PBC’s Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Council is sponsoring an opportunity for PBC to become more involved in helping our DC community. We will be volunteering with Potomac Conservancy for a clean up at Theodore Roosevelt Island on January 14, 2023 for two hours (9am until 11:00 am).
Volunteers play an essential role in Potomac Conservancy’s work. PBC has registered a block of slots for the cleanup. Space is limited. Because PBC registered as a group, individuals do not have to sign up themselves for attendance. Please use the following Eventbrite link to register to participate. We will let Potomac Conservancy know the names and numbers of PBC attendees.

This opportunity is open to PBC members in good standing.
PBC’s DEI Council is looking forward to this opportunity to display PBC’s support of its community. The PBC Board has approved that volunteering for DEI-sponsored events can count up to half of the 10-hour volunteer requirement for PBC members. Participation in this event will count as two hours toward that requirement .
