Update from Dale: The showers should be on. The pump is installed and the re-filling of water for the baseboard heaters should start at 5pm today.

As you know, we have been dealing with plumbing issues for over a month now... A few things to note:

1. No running water today: As our plumber has been working on the heating baseboards, they had the wrong part yesterday. With the freezing temps, they drained all of the pipes in the house until they could return with the correct part today. Thus, we just learned that they turned off the water after draining the system as a preventive measure. So... back to no water at the boathouse until further notice, which means that if you are someone that needs it, best not to come to PBC until it is back on.
2. Even more chilly in members lounge and locker rooms: Since December, we have noticed that the heating elements in the locker rooms and members lounge were definitely not providing any small amount of warmth. Dale has had a plumber assess this issue and as noted above, we are hoping to have this fixed soon.
3. Major leak into the weight room: Did you know that the paving stones on the patios have a water-bladder system below them that collects the rain water to drain them? Well, we do and we noticed that the walls in the weight room and puddles have been collecting. We have learned that the upper patio bladder system has had a leak and in the process of repairing the weight room, the wall damage from this leak is substantial. Dale is working to have the pavers removed, bladder repaired, and also repair the wall/structure.
